If the thought of hanging wallpaper worries you, fear not because there are many different ways in which you can now confidently achieve a professional look with the right help and advice without all the fuss and headaches from repeatedly trying to apply wallpaper incorrectly.

The first thing to do is to measure your room or wall in which you wish to start. A rough estimation is only required at the initial stage, taking in account that the average roll of paper will give you 3 to 4 lengths of paper and less if depending on how uniformed the pattern is.

Don’t be afraid of wallpaper paste, it is better to use more than less and specifically it is important to treat any bare walls with diluted wall paper paste called size. It allows for better adhesion when applying the wallpaper. Once the size has dried, measure the length of wallpaper leaving a about 3 to 5cm excess at either end so you can trim it once applied.

A big tip is to start and finish above the door to the room as this will hide any irregularities in the pattern, leaving a professional finish. Use a plumb line when hanging your first piece of wallpaper to ensure a straight and level continuation of wallpaper, to give the best results.

With the summer months upon us, it is a perfect time to make full use of your garden area, planting shrubs and the hardy perennials that we love so much for their all year round durability, in addition to colourful and bright flowers and roses that last well into the beginning of autumn.

There are many ways in which to fully appreciate your home’s garden, whatever the size, from maintaining your lawn areas and plant and flower bed areas. Many choose to use decorative touches to their gardens, bringing individual finishes to homes across the UK.

Using materials such as pebbles, shale or perhaps bark chippings can add an effective and resilient edge to your garden, allowing you to add a colourful defined contrast between garden areas. The addition of permanent seating areas and raised vegetable plots are also a great way to involve the kids in outdoor activities.

For next to nothing, you can discover the many possibilities now available to you to enable you to get the most from your gardens. If you are willing to put the hard work in you can easy reap the rewards.

The best way to make your flooring last longer is to invest in high quality hard-wearing flooring.

The main options are:

> Marble; very hard wearing but can also very expensive. Gives a beautiful pattern and are often used in high standard bathrooms.

> Limestone; not as hardy as marble but can give a similar effect.

> Travertine (a kind of volcanic rock); a budget option for those wanting a similar look to marble and limestone. The nature of the stone

> Slate; hardy and cheap.

> Sandstone; reasonably hard-wearing but not advised for high-traffic areas.

> Terracotta; a very hard wearing flooring that can last for decades.

> Solid wood; can be very expensive and susceptible to the effects of moisture, but in the right setting they provide a beautiful atmosphere.

> Laminate flooring; the cheaper option for those wanting a wood-look floor.

> Vinyl; a cheap option although high quality vinyls can last a long time and modern pattern making technology can replicate a marble or limestone floor.

> High quality carpet; the most common option.

The answer is yes. Most of us need a pick me up every now and again and your vegetables are no different. Just like us, our vegetables will also benefit from a boost from time to time. We all want satisfying results from all our hard work in and around the garden. Creating your very own liquid fertilizer is a very easy task and it can be done in a matter of minutes. The necessary equipment required is a big plastic container with a secure lid. You should always make sure that the container has never been used for chemicals that were toxic. You need to make up different mixtures, depending on what it is you want to achieve.

Your garden is an area that is usually designed with peace and tranquillity in mind. The right garden and patio furniture can make lounging in your garden a magnificent experience. You might have to do a bit of shopping around to find the right garden furniture, but what ever you do simply make sure you are comfortable with it.

A variety of things can grow in a greenhouse, and the majority of them will grow better than what they would if they were outside in the open. However, there is not a lot of point in doing all the hard graft if you are only going to wind up with a crop of barely bigger than usual vegetables. The most popular things for people to grow in their greenhouses are; cucumbers & tomatoes. This is because cucumbers and tomatoes don’t grow as well outside as what they would inside.

Our clients are more often than not pleasingly surprised with the standard and high quality of all our products and it is not very often that they have reason to complain. We want all our clients to feel very confident when they are buying from us and that is why we accept returns on any of our products. The delivery person(s) will unpack the item(s) on arrival for you to inspect. We ask you to make sure that the item(s) is in satisfactory condition. In the improbable event you come across any damage, you must ask the delivery person(s) to take it back to us.
